What is an ALT tag and what does it do?

Web Support -

An ALT tag (or alternative tag) is a written descriptor of an image (whether it be a logo or a photograph or some other image).

ALT tags are important elements of an accessible website as they allow all internet users to “see” the whole page. Without the tag, that piece of content simply does not exist for some users.

For more information on how to name an ALT Tag download the attached instructions.
