The standard event template can be used to highlight and share your events across the University website.
Standard event template example
What are the key features of the standard event template?
Left hand navigation indicating the key audience category ie Future Students, Research and Innovation etc.
H1 page name (should be no longer than 19 characters including spaces). The page name also appears in the events feed and widgets that feature your event.
Date of the event. Includes start and end dates, as well as specific times. RSVP is optional and will not display unless selected.

Location of event and contact details - optional
A single column content space that can include text, video, imagery etc.
Facebook 'Like' button , Twitter 'Tweet' button.
Third column containing standard calls to action, social and feature widgets. Can also be customised to highlight key calls to action for your event (Note: You will need to submit a ticket to the Web Team for customised widgets).
Who can use the standard event template?
All publishers who have completed the beginner publisher training will have access to create the standard event template. If you require support creating events, you can submit a ticket via the Web Support Portal.
