Content promo banners have several display options.
For pages with a left-hand menu.
This is for one-column pages. The banner spans the width of the page/the user's browser.
For one-column pages. The image scrolls at a different speed to the other content.
To use this container you will need:
- A link to a story or page
- Image (if for a promotion, optional if it is a navigational tool) – size 1150 x 250 (one column: full-width and parallax) 720 x 270 (pages with menu: regular).
Click the + icon on the content screen of a standard page.
Select the Content Promo Banner template
Fill in the following fields:
- Promo title
- Subheadline (optional)
- Intro (optional)
- Call to action
You can also highlight a word in blue by selecting it on the drop-down menu next to the title or subheadline fields.
Step 3. Add Image (the image must be uploaded to Squiz prior to this)
Step 4. Adjust the settings
Add a tint or coloured box around the text, change the text colour and size if needed. This is also where the style can be selected:
The above banner examples have the following settings:
- Headline: 50px
- Subheadline: 30px
- Tint: no
- Text colour: dark
- Wrap width: 80%
- Box colour: light
The banner must be active for it to be visible on a live page.
